The TX2 is made from marine grade stainless steel and measures cable out and direction by sensing when a magnet passes the face of the sensor. The installation is straight forward and only requires a single hole to be drilled in a non-load bearing part of the side arm on the sheave block. The two lock nuts, provided, secure the TX2 in position. The unit contains a microcontroller, (which eliminates false counts caused by the sheave wheel "hovering" over the sensor), lithium battery and radio transmitter. The TX2 stores the count in memory therefore the count remains intact even if there is radio interference

The TX2 can also be supplied as part number TX2_HTK to replace existing Hy-Tek electronic counters. The dimensions are the same as the original sensor thus allowing fitting to existing snatch blocks using the same securing screws .The TX2-HTK is fully compatible with existing Tcount equipment.

These snatch blocks should be manufactured with 1 metre circumference sheave wheels therefore the default setting of 1.0 should be entered for "circ".
