Tcount is a reliable and accurate system for measuring the length of cable passing over a sheave block. Designed to overcome the unreliability of systems using deck leads the system uses a reliable radio link to

display up to four counters on a PC, portable display and/or a desk top mounted LCD display. The system can be purchased as a number of options. The options are listed below, click on links for more information

Incorporates TC20BLK1 and the TCBASIC1 to allow display of the counter on customers PC. Please note the TX2 is supplied fitted to the sheave block.

TCBASIC1

Consists of a PC interface 65mm X 55mm which plugs in to the serial port of a PC and connects to a remote antenna which receives the radio signal from the sheave block mounted radio transmitter. Requires a PC & sheave block, (preferably aluminium), to be supplied by customer, all other components supplied

TCPRO1

Provides the same functions as TCBASIC1 but with the PC interface replaced by an LCD display with  large 1 inch digits which outputs a serial message to external equipment. Requires a sheave block to be supplied by customer.

The Tcount 20 inch block is manufactured from lightweight aluminium and incorporates a Tcount counter transmitter. Safe working load is 5 tonne (tested to 10 tonne). Designed to work in conjunction with user supplied TCBASIC1 and or TCPRO1 and or TCHHD178

An option where use on the deck of a ship is required. Incorporates a radio receiver and back-lit display.

Allows the operator to monitor cable out and stores information on up to four sheave blocks. User supplies Tcount transmitter

The TX2 is secured on to the sheave block by first drilling a single 38mm hole in the side cheek of the sheave block, (non load bearing) then secured with two the two 32mm locknuts supplied. A magnet is positioned on the sheave wheel to actuate the sensor each revolution.

The TCSENS2U is an underwater version of the TX2 and is designed to operate at depths to 950 metres. The sensor communicates over a two wire link to the standard Tcount display, which can also receive the radio transmissions from the TX2's on different channels.

Retro fit existing Hi-Tek counter. This option allows the replacement of the original non-radio counter system with the Tcount system

The Tcount 14 inch block is manufactured from lightweight aluminium and incorporates a Tcount counter transmitter. Safe working load is 1.5 tonne (tested to 3 tonne). Designed to work in conjunction with user supplied TCBASIC1 and or TCPRO1 and or TCHHD178
