The TCPRO1 provides the same function as the TCBASIC1, plus extra functionality as follows:.

• LCD display

• Reset button for the display

• Entry of sheave block parameters with non-volatile memory to store four sheave blocks

• Selection of 1 of four individual counters

• Serial data output to navigation software etc giving calculated cable length.

• No PC necessary

The TCPRO1 kit consists of the DTD254 control and display unit plus the same active antenna as the TCBASIC1 kit. The TX2 transmitter, shown bottom left, is fitted to the customers sheave block by drilling a single hole and securing with the lock-nuts. The magnet, shown to the right of the transmitter, is secured on the sheave wheel opposite the transmitter face. The active antenna is fitted to a convenient guard rail etc using the plastic fixings supplied. The TX2 transmitter must be ordered separately if required.

The two electrical leads to the left of the control and display unit connect to the active antenna, (10 metres cable supplied as standard), and universal ac power adapter respectively.

The TX2 can be supplied for fitting to user supplied sheave block or fitted to the Tcount 20 inch sheave block.
